Picked this showcard up this weekend after a fairly successful weekends hunting. Needs a bit of clean - I suspect that it has been glazed and put back in its original frame. Dates anybody? Sold as Victorian. Suppose it is...?

I have a first edition 1879 "Good Things Made Said And Done - for every home and household. (it ran to about 62 editions I think) The Add for Yorkshire Relish is similar to the table cloth "Most delicious and cheapest sauce in the world"

"Sold by grocers, oilmen and chemists in Bottles 6d, 1s & 2s"

It has a retro feel though

regards

It's still a good find...I don't know that it is a retro by the way, so don't take my word for it.

I am probably completely wrong but colour on monochrome with possibly an older Mr Goodall made me think 1960's retro...but I know nothing...really

Here are my latest finds off the bay

1894 Nelson's orange essence bottle £3 and a packet of Nelson's No1 photographic gelatine c1923 £1.50

regards

I wondered what those bottles were for!
