Both me and my mate Paul were interested in bidding for this early Flumis enamel, I told him I would not bid and let him have a crack. For my kind gesture, he sold me this cracking little Ingersoll watches sign, now everybody's happy!!    Gordo

Hi Gordo,

This sign loooks a lot like the flat Bensdorp Cocoa sign from around 1910. It is on the right of the picture.

But if it was convex, it is a replica from India. Do you know if it was flat or convex?

regards Henk

Jesus Gordo !!  You must be bloody good at Pool.
You'd never want to leave that room .
Has the South British been cropped around the oval ?
I have that sign ( rectangular shape ) . I've not seen the oval shaped end before

Very nice mate ,, Thanks for showing

The South British was one of the first signs I bought, It was been used as the back of a small cupboard, with the pictorial end bent over as the top of the cupboard. It's got a lot of nail holes, been straightened, but it's got that history with me that I haven't bothered buying a better one.

 Well done mate.

They do have individual lives and history and it's good to appreciate that
