Hi all, had a run of annoying nerds who decide they didnt want to pay after bidding, don't know if anyone want to take note of,   speciallola ,    hrhmatt,   and kingoftheswingers?  Havent heard a word from them, gutless rude , and probably  'a bounder'   Ebay don't give a shite, they simply say that they'll mark it down on their account as 'not paying', well done them.         Apart from having bundles of industrial cleaning leaflets, or porn contacts sent to their home ,   Anyone got more  subtle humourous ideas, of delivering back a untraceable recourse action, and annoy them as much as its put me out.      I have their address, and time on my side , mmmmm, now let me think?

cheers advertad

Hi Advertad,
I have had a few. Ebay really are toothless about this. If you have one strike against your name fair enough, essentially though if you have 2 or 3 records of non-payment then you should be removed from Ebay.
If you have their address and can be bothered, mention the small claims court, its worked for me before. Ebay is a legal deal and breaking that deal by non-payment is breaking the law strictly speaking. Failing that if you're passing their address knock on the door with some burly mates asking for the money.....!

Hi Richard,

In changing the rules to prevent sellers from leaving negative feedback for buyers, whilst ebay may have stopped sellers leaving 'tit for tat' negative feedback for buyers who had a genuine complaint, they also allowed this to happen, which is dreadful! Both sellers and buyers have a resoponsibility in any transaction, and if 'buyers' received negative feedback for non-payment, I believe they would be less willing to behave like this.

speciallola was a non paying bidder on one of my auctions. he paid in the end but mucked about quite a bit. I Think Al had a few probs with him too. There was a previous post naming him (& others) on the old site.
I'd suggest requesting the buyers info & give them a call, works most times for me.

Three strikes on ebay only gets you suspended for a month. Although you can set your own bidder threshold to not accept bidders with strikes. It doesn't stop the problem entirely, but prevents it happening to you. cheers

I think we may all have had such problems with this on ebay over the years. Its probably best to just forget it and relist the item, rather than shout abuse at the computer hoping ebays deaf ears suddenly have a miraculous divine intervention...

and in my experience some of this sites members do the same thing, although I wouldn't use the word scum thats a bit strong... forgetful perhaps or dead??

Hi ho, thanks for your words, yeh perhaps scum was a bit overly aggressive, it was after running around in circles and not listening to a warning from  mum that 'I would be sick',and  wouldnt be let back in the creche with the other kids. I was miffed at three non payers out of six items I'd put on.  I did phone on three ocasions and was told that the person would contact me back , nothing.   It'll take a longtime before ebay change their concept of seller/buyer comparisons, and for some people who have no integrity, and sense of fair play who hopefully won't breed, and experience full kharma in  their time.

I'm gonna bid on your petro signs....would you like me to pay for only 50% of those items  won to keep your ebay average constant?

  Regards Gaz
