hi al does the tail detatch if it does it might be a middle eastern padlock the key enters via the mouth it won,t be like any key most people will have seen before

Didn't enamels 1000 get chased off by a relative of one of these when he was snooping around that cottage on the trail of the rusty hudson's soap. I believe he posted a picture on the forum at the time.

hiya Al, its a modern padlock, you shuv a bit of metal it from the front and it pushes the springs down and allows you to open it, it looks modern to me.

Hey up. Thanks for your advice Ben. Looks like it has had a fair bit of wear, but who knows with foreign stuff hey. Will amend description in shop.
