Forumees,
Did anybody see tonights program? One of the experts bought a hand-drawn picture that included a Carr's package within it. He took it to a museum that I think is linked to Carr's parent company, and, possibly, is based in London. The place looks to be filled with hundreds of tins, boxes and other biscuit related advertising. Does anybody know where it is or what it's called (and if generally open to the public)?
(I was watching at Cook Snr's so there was no Sky+ rewinding available at the time!!)

It's the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill. A lot of Robert Opies stuff resides within. I'm planning a visit. Jez |

Watched it and I spotted the enamels in the background and wondered if it was someone familiar to this site!! But really, £20 for that modern toy??? Come on! |

if i have to hear the hosts nicknames ever again "Knocker & Hammer" I think I might puke. Inane is a kind summation of that drivel. Almost as bad as celeb antique road trip. |

Now the " cat is out the bag " and a " Star " has been born ? I believe it is ok to mention, that a little look at thursdays riveting installment will reveal further goodies. I am at present negotiating to be Cherryboys agent and would therefore kindly ask you to route all booking enquires through yours truly. Lummox ( aka agent to the POMPEY STAR ) |
