The only reference I have found is in the 1940 Tobacco Year Book, so it was still available then. It was manufactured by Edward, Ringer & Bigg's of Bristol. This company was formed in 1813 and taken over by W.O Bigg's & Co in 1893. They were members of the ITC and I think were eventually amalgamated into the company W.A & A.C.Churchmans.
Their popular tobacco and cigarette brands were, "Blue Bell"--"Red Rag"--"Black Bell" and Ringer's A1 Shag. (Picture Posted) Cigarettes were "Exmoor Hunt"--"Royalty" & "Klondyke" etc etc.
