This is another showcard I have not come across before. Player's like Will's had a tremendous range of advertising and it is great when previously unknown ones turn up. The "Hearts of Oak" brand is quite old but this freestanding showcard is dated 1948. Again, the popular use of the sailor to sell the brand.

Once again yet another great sign that I have never seen - how do you keep finding them?

Did you see the Bristol on Film programme last night on BBC 4 - where they had shots of the Wills factory, as well as Frys Chocolate making?

Would be great to meet up with you at the Summernational this year.

Glad you like the showcard which I have had for a while. I was just going to concentrate on tins due to the amount of space showcards take up. However, I was tempted by the sign and could'nt say no.

Not sure about Summer National yet as I am recovering from a foot operation and as such virtually housebound. Will let you know if I decide to go!
