I'm looking for a bit of knowledge, forumists.

Just listed a tin on eBay and the 'selling an item' process has changed. I can't spot a box that I can tick so the item shows up in the US and Canada. Does anybody know, are items listed here now automatically available at .com and .ca, or has the option been removed altogethe and they won't show up therer? Or am I being a dippy and just missed something!!?

Cheers,

Cook Jnr.

If you allow worldwide shipping (ie) add an international shipping option then it will show up worldwide. Hope this helps

That's a shame. A good percentage of the few things I sell is sent to USA/Oz/Canada.

As Lummo says if you tick the worldwide shipping in your P&P section you will get worldwide coverage. I know it can be a pain working out all the costs etc. but it does expose the item to a much wider potential audience.

If anyone wants to email me a load of pics or send a CD. I can do listings and put up on this site. All you have to do is tell me how much you want for the items.

Cheers

Al.

Hey Cooky,
When I list and you've gone through the first major page after postage etc, eBay often puts up a page with suggestions to improve listing before you hit list my item.
There is a single line which has a tiny check box for listing in USA and Canada (costs 15p). Its easy to miss but guarantees listing on eBay.com.

I'll have a closer look next time I list. As if they weren't making enough money, they've increased the fee by 200% too!!!

Hello to all.

As a buyer from Australia I sometimes like to look at eBay UK which turns up some very interesting things for me however sometimes the UK sellers won't allow me to bid, which happens quite a bit.

Recently I emailed one seller and he informed me that if I sent him my email address and user name he was able to exempt me from the restrictions for overseas buyers. I realise this thread is slightly different to what is benig discussed however it may help some sellers who are having difficulties with getting their items exposed internationally. The seller I dealt with contacted eBay and that was the course of action that he was advised to take. When the seller listed he too couldn't find the area in which to list internationally so there are ways to get around the hassle, apparently.

When I list things for sale on the Australian eBay it is very easy to sell overseas as there are two boxes that I can tick. One says simply "Sell Worldwide" and the other allows me to sell to certain countriues only. ie UK, Canada, USA, Europe etc but not to other areas. UK listing may be different but don't despair as there are ways to allow interested buyers.

Regards, George Grant (Rustycutters)

George its exactly the same here we just have to tick the Worldwide shipping, also you can always list on Ebay as opposed to Ebay Uk
