I added this to the collection today, with it's original Players frame, was it originally glazed?  I'm guessing from the rebates on the frame that it was but just thought i'd check!

Thanks Al, It's the "Fighting Temeraire" by Turner. I'll get it glazed!

I thought it was. Turner is one of my fave artists ever.

The houses of Parliamnet on fire - 1834 is my fave of all time. Start of Abstract art in my opinion.
