Just a few photos of a find earlier this year. Only one Whitbread sign was salvagable really but was good fun digging through the rubble of this abandoned and burnt mine building to see what we could find. The signs once formed the roof so as you can imagine there was quite a few but the fire had left them broken, twisted and generally past it! Not sure what Dweeb has done with the one we salvaged. Probably sold it when i wasnt looking i would imagaine!!!!!!!

I am sorry, but I just don't see the point of having stuff like this.

Even the Whitbread is a joke sign.

You had better not come and see my collection then, you'll be laughing all the way home.

For normal people like myself with little disposable money for buying signs it's a way of being able to collect enamels. To be fair most of the signs here were too fooked even by my standards, but I've got some crabby ones on my fence that I enjoy having. The Whitbread welded up ok, you can read it and it looks ok on the fence... not a bad addition considering it cost nowt!

Mmm yes, its all about finding with your eyes not your cheque book. Doesn't always work out but just this weekend we had another pictorial players sign from our latest hunting ground. Thats 3 pictorals and 3 normal so far! Maybe the pictures from that will interest you more Mr Kite... All in good time!
