This cardboard sign is unmistakably American but oddly enough came to me courtesy of a British dealer. It is shaped like a woman's make-up mirror and the 2  sides fold in allowing it to stand on it's own. I decided to put it on a shelf for display so I bent the 2 sides in and I heard a crack. Lesson learned. Don't bend old paper. Even though the sign was in mint condition the paper had become brittle over the years. I now have 2 cracks on the sign. It doesn't really affect the way it looks but it makes me feel nauseous when I think about what I did.

SCREENSTAR LOVELINESS

My dog is a bit of a delusional poser but he does have a little of that canine screenstar loveliness. I think he is far beyond the beautifying properties of Hollywoodglo but let's allow him his moment in the spotlight.
