Decided to part with my tin Rajah cigars sign and have a local collector who is interested in buying the sign but have no idea what the right price should be as being this far down west I rarely get to go to fairs etc to keep up with prices.

Any help would be much appreciated chaps :-)

I tried to download a picture, but it won't allow me to, of a near mint one that sold for 975, back in 05 on ebay.

Not sure if that helps?? Rare thing I reckon.

Right then I will be brave and put my head above the parapet to be shot down !!

Mint well worth a cool grand plus !!

In this condition my guess is £350 to £425

Sits back and waits for gunfire !!

Thanks for the help mate, I thought if I asked the guys who regularly attend the shows etc they would most likely have a good idea as to current approximate value.

Local guy liked the sign but only wanted to stump up with £200 so reckon this might do better on the dreaded eBay, hopefully fetch a more realistic price based on rarity etc.
Thanks for the help Lummox mate

What fun and games finding the best way to sell on eBay, if you list it as an auction with a reserve they want over £25 just for the listing but if I list it with a high buy it now price but the option for bidders to make offers it only costs 80p to list? Weird but that's the cheapest way to go :-)

Selling on ebay with a Reserve or a High Start price.......is generally the kiss of death. Lots of watchers no bidders. Sometimes a reserve is reasonable or even low but it puts people off because they tend to think an item is probably overvalued by the seller and will therefore have an unrealistic reserve.

Hoping the offers section might interest a few collectors, if not can relist at a later date but I would worry that if listed without reserve it would go too cheaply and you have no way of avoiding that?
