Help Wanted--Enamel sign "Cooper The World's Dip"

Hello to everyone.

I am looking for some assistance please. I have a mate who has one of the attached signs "Cooper The World's Dip " signs and on the sign, at the bottom, is the numbering of 04/3. Does anyone know what the numbers represent?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Rusty

Yep another great sign

As Al says could be a date, but could aslo be a ' Stud Sheep ' number or reference from the Australian Stud Sheep breeders Association. That said interest in Rams, stud sheep etc was massive around 1895 - 1910 so could well be a show date.
