Found this today along with a tin cocoa sign..The sign was nailed to a door and this was just sitting above the door on a shelf,,i cudnt get my breath when i saw him..

Nice find. One of these was posted some time back, (see archive 11/06/07). I think they were fibre-glass. Have posted mine which is made from gypsum-plaster and hand painted, manufactured by "Legend Products" based local to me in Wrexham, North Wales. When I enquired about the figure they said they were commisioned by "Orlik" pipes in late 70s to produce 100 of them for the bigger stores and shops. Yours I think is an earlier version done in fibre glass.

It's fibreglass.  I posted the one on the old forum.  It was made in the 60's.  Like this Golly, he's made from fibreglass the same, made in about 1958 as a special edition of 200 for the Australian market.
