I came up on this amazing vintage lamp at the goodwill a couple weeks a go, everyone comes over and I'm dying to have the story behind it. Just out of couriosity do any of you have any knowledge behind it? It appears to have many old ads including a lot of historical significance as far as he history of tobacciana.

Anyways, I would like to find out how old this lamp is, also would like to know what it was made for. Was this an advertisment, there are many seem to be advertisers on the lamp itself, "Edinburgh, best virgenia", "O Daves Tobacconist: Nig Pater Noster Reg,
Spitalfields", "tabacAnglaisNo220, "Aechter Keyfer, Puik Swicents Tabak" to name a few.

See attached pictures, and thanks in advance any sharing of your expertise.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,
This is a 70s lamp made up from a montage of adverts.
It was never an advertising piece as such.
Cheers ,
Jez
