I chased a mint Royal Daylight for ages without luck and then this sorry looking thing turned up. I've given it a good home as it was only a few quid...amazingly, the centre image on one side is still really quite good! The sign has no metal loss its just the blue has drastically faded. Just thought I'd share it for what its worth. Cheers

Gordo, very nice! That glimmers like liquid! What do you use to polish?

That's a sign I've always fancied! On fleece77's example, there appears to be an Art Nouveau design around the vignette, but it's not visible on ducati's one. It's quite subtle and I've never noticed it before. Is it only on some examples then?

Ducatti, as far as I remember, I didn't have to polish that sign, it came in that great condition. I usally use a Meguiars car polish when required.

Sign seekeryour right, I recently was going to bid on one in the USA, but it didn't have the vignette, it was also single sided?? So I wasn't sure if it was right?? So I chose to leave it alone, one of my favourite signs, it's got everything you want in a sign.

Gordo
