Does any one have any info on guards cigarettes 

when were they first made??? Or any other info 

is there any enamel signs for the company

"Guards" cigarettes were made by a number of companies. Do you have a company name or picture of packet and I may be able to help date your brand???

I don't have a packet
But have been looking at a vending machine on the Internet on the side plate it reads messrs Carreras
The machine is red and white.and that's about it really
So I don't know if you can tell me anything about it from the description I've give you

Carreras introduced the "Guards" brand in 1958 and "Guards Kingsize" in 1974. They also introduced "Guardsman" in 1969 and "Guards Select" in 1975.
