Am never going to get  a players weights enamel to make the set , sold a few signs recently in anticipation of the one in the auction today , sat thru 50 lots then online bidding packed up x10 lots before the players ... Thnks GWA ! Anyone see what it went for - lot 471 ...Ciggy.

sorry can't help as my connection went as well! Could not believe the price of some signs though - over 2.5k for Spratt's "pussy" sign (can't remember actual figure as was in shock) and yet 1.8k for Fry's 5 boys with no resto!

The first cigarette vending machine went quite cheaply. The second seemed to attract more interest.

Just looked on the realised prices for the auction and it's jumps from lot 460-485,
so not sure if the sign met it's reserve or something along those lines

Lot 471 went for £300. All the prices can be seen via the GWRA website, plus the not solds. Whoever consigned the Spratts pussy must be smiling like a Cheshire cat!!

I had a bid on the Simpsons Pig Powders, but it went for way more than I expected.

That's got to be a typo, £270 is more in line. No pussy is worth that much, I don't care what they say!!!

A few bits flew but I don't think the prices are generally as strong when the sale wasn't online.
