Just got back from the Bendigo swapmeet and I can't believe what I found !!!! Gordo

I don't think it was ever hung outside, great gloss.

Best pictures of the horses I've seen. Superb colourful detailing, which has often faded away - Great find - Regards Richard

Elliman's is a good strong example of an all-time classic sign; very nice indeed! What a gloss on that! Well done.

Let's just say it wasn't one of those situations where some little old lady had it sitting in her shed and didn't know what it was worth, I paid a reasonable amount of moola for it.

Where the sign is chipped, there are no real signs of major rust which is why I think it has only ever been hung inside.

The colours are so deep and glossy I love it !!

I tried returning the message you sent me Mick, but it bounced back for some reason.

Mick I already promised to show a mate the Shell gate sign today, if he doesn't want it I will let you know. measures 34.5 cm x 9.5 cm

I can be reached at texaco77@iprimus.com.au

The best one I have ever seen in forty years of collectiing. Green with envy !
£1000 would have been a bargain, in my view.
2K would have been pricey...you'll probably say you bought it for 300 quid !

Fred I think your prices are 40 years old !!!

I'm sure there are a lot of forum members who couldn't get their 2K out of their pockets quick enough.

It was more than 2K Fred, how long do you wait to see another one as good ?? If I didn't buy it, I guarantee you others would have.
