 Hi brown1900,

The "Crayol" brand is circa 1900 and manufactured by Major Drapkin & Co founded in 1898 also used the name of H. Benedictus & Sons. Took over Lusby Ltd in 1903 and they themselves were taken over by Godfrey Philips Ltd in 1931. "Greys"-"Karam" and "Buffs" were just a few of their other brands. Have not seen any "Crayol" enamel adverts but have posted a magazine advert and picture from Cigarette Pack Art.
