These were all dug up in the 50's from the grounds of an old thatched cottage. They have just come to light again having been found in a packing box dated 1959.I know nothing about bottles, apologies if they are just run of the mill bottles.

Look like good clean mineral water bottles ranging in date from 1890-1900 for the (lying down) hamilton, to maybe 1920s for the crown cap minerals (though can't see the lip in your picture.) Typical bottles nationally, but may have greater value if local rarities.

Be interested to see what else there is!

Thanks for posting.

Thank you. The other bottles are just plain with Marbles in, They were dug in Baldock, Herts, probably that's why there's a couple from Stevenage and Clapham?

You're welcome, David. I was struggling to read the town name! The only one I could make out was Doncaster, and thought they were perhaps from Yorkshire!

Were there any other lids or pots there?

Is this the ginger beer bottle or was it one of the glass bottles?

Al's referring to the stoneware bottle which is partially shown in the second picture in the top row.
