Hi

I have an old Frigidaire with glass display front that once graced my dad's shop, that i am interested in gaining some publicity, then to put up for auction but do not know how to go about this or who would be able to give an accurate estimate on its value, or the best auction house.

The cabinet stands 5ft 6 inch tall and is 3ft wide and 2ft depth and the wood is in good condition other than some blistering of the vaneer on just one side.

It was in working order up until my dad closed the shop some 20 years ago.

My dad took over the running of the shop in the 1950s but the fridge had been in the shop from at least the late 1920's

I beleive we have the origanal receipt my dad once showed me for £350 from 1926 if i remenber correctly. and is also named on the shop deeds from the 50's

I remember my dad telling me when i was young that the previous owners purchased the fridge, that was the only one of its kind in the UK and people came from miles around to see it.

We also have all origanal parts from when the fridge was converted to a more modern working.

The markings stamped on the plate inside are

MODEL: L.P.O
PART: 1122040
FOR: F.12 SYSTEMS
DIVISION OF GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION DAYTON OHIO

Please could you let me know what you think. this fridge has great sentimental value to me as i grew up with my bedroom above the drone and vibration it made.
