I just bought this rare 30 calibre revolver only 1000 made,,these were carried by officers on both sides in the american civil war as a second backup gun,patent date on the cylinder is 1857,this one been made in 1860,,it is also rare for these type of revolvers to have a loading gate and a ejector rod.
