Just got ripped off and wanted to take seller to court, they did not say old or antique, but carefully worded description to make you think it was old. Sadly i don't have a leg to stand on.

Be careful!!!!

Al,
You always have a case. Speak to trading standards. Or a solicitor.

trading standards will always get to the bottom of a difficult case and if you are brave enough to chase a case through to the end alongside a solicitor..they are the best way to go..I have personally come a major cropper at the hands of trading standards and it was all down to a misplaced punctuation mark...there was no intention to deceive, the object was genuine ...just a comma in the wrong place...and I lost a long drawn out case...
