Hello,

I recently got handed down a few items (see pics) and hoped that someone on here might be able to shed some light on them. I've done some research myself already but I have no idea of price etc and am looking for some conformation.

All pics here - http://s1252.photobucket.com/user/J...5/library/

I know the F & R Prattware Smoking set is 'Old Greek' c1841-1878 but have no idea of its value.

The Book 'Flak' by Shirley Goulden I think is worth about £50 but again I can't be sure of this.

The rest I really am not sure. The Christening set seems to be from two different makers from the marks. The Japanese tea cups are eggshell and so pretty sure they're not really worth anything much but there's a few nice bits I think.

Be really interested to know what you all think. Thanks in advance.

Hi James

We are mainly advertising on here, However your china is fairly worthless I'm afraid. Can't see your Prattware item, Rolls Razor perhaps a £5 in the UK. Your possible masonic table lighter is in fact exactly what it says, A lighter from Malta 1980 tourist piece little or no value. Christening set is plated so perhaps £10 to £15. Your silver plated ( earn set ) ?? is in fact a fairly modern small rosebowl and two bud vases for roses. Sorry but fairly naff and unconsidered in the UK. The book you can look up and easily find a value depending on condition, dust jacket and edition.

No early retirement for you I'm afraid

Cheers Lummox

The Prattware is the Black and White Smoking set.

Thanks for the feedback.
