ALL BBR catalogues go online @ the-saleroom.com - just click on 'UK' (on L), then BBR, then at the top select 'ALL' - to view all lots, rather than clicking page after page.
Does not come cheaply, & in truth rarely lures in the masses of new bidders everyone imagines (not on our 40 yr database). But we MUST encompass all avenues on behalf of our vendors - seen to be actively promoting.
Over a period of years we've however managed to chalk up a number of new regulars to the Elsecar events/ auctions - some rather noticeable buyers.
Ongoing extensive advertising remains a crucial facet for both BBR shows & auctions. Costs a lot - but just gotta keep the Heritage venue alive & kicking - for the hobby's sake. |
