I have a page from a very old copy of the "Finders keepers" magazine which features a photo of a Bill Crane holding a mint condition Milkmaid Enamel Sign which he found inside a door in his local village of Kings Cliffe near Peterborough. I would guess that the photo was taken around the mid eighties. Does anyone know if he's still alive and if so is he on Facebook? He may also be known as William Crane and he must be in his late sixties by now...
