July 4 & 5 this year celebrates the 25th UK SummerNational.

There's absolutely nowt like it in the UK, the ONLY w/e specialist collectors event - 40,000 sq ft of sales stalls, displays, major auction, specialist Car Boot...... and now the camping is BACK!!!

Might not be something for the Australian visitors - but if families are travelling over and considering a long trip (buying campong gear) or even hiring a camper van - well - this is ideal.

It enables folk to stay IN THE VILLAGE all w/e, no need to get in the car until they go home - all they need in the way of food and drink on their doorstep, soak up the ambience.

My intent has always to make the event affordable for as many as possible - especially any youngsters/ families too - lure them all, welcome them, lay everything on a plate for all requirements, make the event a proper family fun gathering. Bus and train from Elsecar enable folk to reach many varied attractions - the Peak District, Meadowhall (hell?), Conisboro Castle, Magna, Holmfirth, Cannon Hall, Worsboro Mill Wentworth Woodhouse….. and so much more.

Camping could also be a probability for every Elsecar event - caravans, campers, tents…..

The additional parking opposite the site, rather than on the road, is a big bonus too.
