So who's that in the trailer for the forthcoming 'Collectaholics' on BBC2? Is he one of our number on here? Fry's cabinet and lots of packaging appear for a split second in the trailer! (Apologies to you if you're the collector and I didn't recognise you!)

Love the house, & to have a shop is the icing on the cake.  Owner sounds like he would sell at the drop of a hat, apparently had a choice Marylin Munroe collection that he sold.

To be that dedicated and so committed to getting it just right like the wallpaper he wouldn't sell it at the drop of a hat, if he lives and breathes the collection with such commitment why would he. Peter was interested when they mentioned location hire and why not, it's the perfect thing to do having such a fantastic property and keen eye for detail. I though he came across really well and he's a really nice guy.

Thanks for your positive comments. I wouldn't sell at the drop of a hat though - if it is right for the house and period I hang on to those bits but try not to have too much of the same thing like a shop would have, which is why I sold one of the chocolate cabinets. My Marilyn collection was a lot of cheap prints if I'm honest!

They cut so much such as I paid for the wallpaper through selling many items from the shop. The second part of the show was after that point and if you look carefully they cut between the two periods with different objects missing and then reappearing in the next shot! Overall pleased with how it looked!

Yup I bought some bits from Peter that were in the first edit, including the Owbridges glass sign - sold to cover the wallpaper. Thats dedication. Didnt get a chance to see Peter's work as I met him at work. Pity!

Lummox I would be interested to hear what two things that you noticed that didn't fit? I am sure I've made a few mistakes here and there but try to research everything as much as possible. Peter

After yesterdays mega trip home via the worlds biggest car park Im not sure I'll be heading down again. Left East Grinstead at 8.30 mileage 270, 11.00 am mileage 276. Should have gone the opposite way round the Mickey25. Doh....
Actually you KNOW I'll be back like a bad smell with treats for the pooches!
