Just aquired this sign and wondering how rare it is ?

Its dated 1914

Can't have been too many over the Thames, obviously for road bridges. I think Putney Bridge was the first one in the county of Middlesex? They must have used 'other bridges' to cover canals in the borough?

Hi Fred,
I had one I liberated as a student in the 1980s. I guess its quite rare as thats only 2 I've ever seen.
Its enamelled exactly in the style it would have been printed as a poster. I wonder if they worked from a printed copy and enamelled from that in some photographic way?
