After. 20 odd years of asking,praying,begging,ect,,my son big Al And me start day one on a  1890s / 1920 s ash tip this morning,,I am to old for digging through tons of topsoil now,,so it's a mini digger,,wish us luck fellow members,,,photos to follow later,,,( I hope ).

 well members another let down,,how I hate 20s dumps,,the owner told me his father put tons of topsoil at the deep end,,so it looks like the viccy stuff is 15 to 20 ft deep,,needs a larger machine.

 I am not going to give up mate,I will return one sunny day,I am convinced there's a older part to this tip,I intend to find it,I think this end was the way in and out and was filled in last,,if I can get through the tons of topsoil I will strike pay dirt in the middle or the far end.
