 Hi Hilbert,

It's a very nice tin by the firm Willis & Roberts Manchester circa 1899. Was unfortunately  outbid on it. Went for £166.90 plus p&p.

I would have liked it myself, but a bit rich for me.

Thought you'd be interested Bacco. I'm guessing that it's a pretty rare tin and an obscure manufacturer.

Astounding condition and very interesting.

What a grand survivor!

The blend name of Storm Cloud makes me speculate that it may have been a dark flake -- my favorite!
