Just to check how this new site thingy works , i hope i have added a picture of one of my favorite tobacco tins , i know ive posted a picture before but i hope its worth a second look , It was given to me as a Christmas present from my father a few years ago and one i will keep

Hi Dan, that is a really nice tin and in better condition than mine. Did you know that "Cymro Dewr" means brave "Welshman". He is a "Royal Welsh Fusilier"  with the regimental goat mascot. The H.Q. was at Wrexham North Wales, The "Cymro Dewr" tobacco was manufactured by W.T Davies of Chester about 10 miles from Wrexham.

One of my favourite tins is the "Twin Clouds" posted. It was manufactured by Richmond Cavendish Co Ltd of Liverpool. It is in super condition for its age.
