Oh no! I just rang the auction house as result doesn't appear on the website. Someone bagged a mega-bargain; it went for £280.
Me n Cook Snr sick as parrots.

I spoke to auctioneer and when he said the price I gave it the full "you gotta be f**kin' kiddin' me!" Response was, "yeah, why?" I just said it was a once in a lifetime tin but didn't get into what it could be worth to tin collectors.
Agreed, some collectors like a little privacy. I'll leave it there, but if the buyer is reading this, you lucky Alan B'Stard. |
