This appears to be celebrating Queen Vics Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Could this tin be that old?

It has various dates on the sides, mostly 1837 and 1897, but also 1876 (when she became empress of India) and strangely 1829.

I suppose it could have been produced on her death, in commemoration, but it doesn't say 1901 anywhere.
