At myHermes, we’re always striving to improve the value of our service. Having reviewed our offer, we’ve decided to change our weights and dimensions to compete with all of our competitors, including Royal Mail and we are introducing a new range of weight bands for smaller and medium sized parcels.
This is great news, as revising our parcel weight bands now makes it easier for you to compare prices, with the introduction of two new weight bands: “0-2kg Small” and “0-2kg Medium”.
This means that if you are sending a parcel that weighs 2kg or under:
- If the size does not exceed 45cm (L) x 35cm (H) x 16cm (W) you will be able to take advantage of our small parcel category.
- If the size exceeds the small parcel dimensions, then the medium parcel category should be selected, this would apply to any parcel whose dimensions exceeds 45cm (L) x 35cm (H) x 16cm (W) and any parcel less than 2kg in weight.
Our upper weight and dimension limits will not change allowing you to send parcels weighing over 2kg up to 15kg and a maximum length of 120cm, with combined dimensions of 245cm. See our parcel size page

Update
The myHermes prices have been updated and will show the cost of a small or medium parcel from 00:00 on Wednesday 17th August. The prices of a “0-2kg Small” parcel will cost from £2.75 (inc VAT) and the price of a “0-2kg Medium” parcel will cost from £3.95 (inc VAT).

Please note: These changes will only be available using our “send a parcel” process. If you have an eBay, Amazon, or upload via CSV and you want to benefit from the new rates, you will need to send your parcels using our single “
send a parcel” process. If you have a Business Account none of these changes will apply to you.
