He's been touting the cabinet round for a while at £1500. Its been to Ardingly 3 times, & ( probably, Newark, Lincoln Etc, Etc ) not that good an example when you actually see it in the flesh, perhaps just under half would be ok.

He recently told me he had a mega mirror.............Its nice, in fact very nice  but surely not at any where near that money. He's also been trying to sell it to all the ' names ' for a big price. He was punting it at Beaulieu for 2.5k. I believe a regular visitor to this site and purveyor of top quality gear nearly ' Spilt his tea ' when told the asking price......mad

I agree Lummy, I've checked out the Ebay desc. I wouldn't agree that its the best mirror ever, ever. Our local arts centre has a 5 ft square worthingtons that knocks this into a cocked hat. All it cost me to see that is the price of a pint of guinness! I've bought several nice mirrors lately nothing like that sort of money.....

Yes he did tout it on this site and when price was requested by myself, no answer and then up it pops on ebay. No longer interested as seller is all over the place... and the cabinet, again £££££....

Its a nice little Fry's mirror but you can buy great mirrors for reasonable money at the moment.

I have a really early mahogany Fry's cabinet with a Red F and C in the pediment. I had this list price at £900.

Cheers

Al.
