We have a simple rule of thumb at BBR when packing - we would be prepared to kick the parcel downstairs?

Sounds dramatic - but we line all our boxes with one inch jablite first, then wrap item with bubble wrap, then a FULL fist width of polystyrene "peanuts" inbetween.

Sending FRY'S cabinets & such in both the UK & overseas, plus (often) some VERY high value pieces we've developed a fair in-house packing service - defo cheaper than the well known nationals.

At the end of the day there's one big MUST KNOW - you CANNOT insure pottery or glass - they'll take your money for sure, but read the small print…. NOT covered (but if you shout loud enough you might just win).

Just seen this Joe, why didnt you let me know direct? I have been digging since early Jan and haven't been checking the forums as well as i should as I only have a few precious hours with my wife and kid when home.
