I'm starting to think it might be kinda neat to have a wall or ceiling covered tightly in an arrangement covering the whole area with these these trash signs. Might make a interesting effect?

 I completely agree, some of the outdoor museums have the distressed signs in allotment gardens,  as do blitz scene war reenactments, they look absolutely fantastic in the right setting. Whilst Joe's finds aren't the best, I bet you were still getting a heart flutter when you found them.  I know I would
