Thanks guys. I drove 2.5 hours each way to get the Venus one. I stopped at a Antique store while out there and stumbled upon the Bisto tucked away sort of hard to see. The guy I bought the Venus Soap from had two, but I missed the other one by a few days. Turns out he unscrewed the two examples in the 1960s in Britain from a shop during demolition, then he immigrated to Canada and they've been in garage all these years, he showed me pic of the other one which was absolutely mint condition . There were two Venus Soaps plus one Players and Brooke Bond as well which his mate took back in the 60s. The surface of the Venus isnt perectly smooth, little defects, bubbles and bumps, probably fairly early. What age do you fellas reckon? Must be 1900 or earlier? Research has shown Bisto started in 1908 and went to a different advertising campaign in 1919, so I reckon the Bisto is probably 1910
Great story.
