Shocking! But it always surprises me that people will shell out considerable sums of money, obviously without any clue what they are buying!

Is this sign a 'repro' strictly speaking?....I'm not sure I've ever seen an 'original' (i.e. Old -20s/30s) version of this.
Do they exist? I'd be interested to see one. If they don't then this sign can't be considered a repro.

You're right. A repro would be a good copy of, this is just a nostalgic novelty. Vintage is the word to look for, covers a seller as saying it has age, but that's all they're saying. Unfortunately in this instance, they say vintage in the description, but antique in the title. I suspect the seller in this instance is confused themselves, given the other stuff they sell. The follow up listing by someone else is quite common when this sort of event occurrs, but for some reason they don't often seem to pan out.

Although I think it's surprising these Rizla signs are fetching such high sums on eBay, I don't think they can be quite as easily dismissed as pieces of s**t as those pathetic Five Boys repros scuffed up to look old. These Rizla signs are 'originals' and are probably 40+ years old now. Nevertheless £560 seems way over the top.
