I really like this sign a lot. In 'More Street Jewellery' it's dated as 1925...I've always thought it looks older than that.

Fantastic looking sign,stunning detail..very very clever peice of advertising for its day..To be honest the sign 100years on Still makes sense..

Its great to have different opinions, I've always liked the sign but there are signs I think are vastly over rated yet highly desirable, Nearly every motoring sign comes to mind ........oops but thats another story !

She is certainly not a beauty but she is probably a little bit annoyed being judged so harshly by those two " Oil Paintings ! " Arkwright & Fleece LOL
