Hi guys,

Can anyone enlighten  us on this tall slender necked bottle that we found when we were digging out recently.  It was found alongside other early bottles like the black glassed one I put on a few days ago.

Sadly the top rim is cracked (still all there, but cracked!). it has that pale bluey green tinge to it and measures 14 inches high.

Looked through a few books but can't pinpoint anything quite like it.  Wondered whether it would have had a bauble type stopper at one time?

All thoughts gratefully received.

I have a giant one similar to this with Champion written embossed on it. I have a smaller labelled one too and it shows it is for vinegar. Once had the enamel too.

Cheers

Al.
