We had a most pleasant day out at Elsecar yesterday and as usual it was a well organised event. Met up with some old pals and well known dealers. The chat was as usual, interesting and informative. There were loads of great things to see and I purchased a few items but, unusually didn't come home flat broke!

I, on the other hand, did. Picked up three stunning condition enamels. And I see the Hudson's Laundress fingerplate walked away from the antiques centre with a nw owner.

Great additions to the thread - nice to see/ hear of some bits folks take home... rather than all secretive.

Do we know who scooped the Hudsons from the Antiques Centre yet?

That's what I was referring to batley, asking who got the Hudsons from there?

Somebody with a " donkey choker " in their pocket by the sound of it , owing to it's hefty price tag ! I was told who , but unless that person wishes to say , it's not for me to tell. Obviously he's serious about his collecting.
