With so many repro's of mobil, it's killed the original market, I began selling all my high end automobile signs when the fakes started appearing. In bangers and smash tonight one sign collector bought four signs & all were repro.
Watch out for Bangers & Cash - I got interviewed after buying an original Esso sign. The majority of the signs offered are repro / painted wood, and there's a lot of interest from the walls on the lots!!!

If you've been watching all the episodes I'm sure you will have seen the same signs time after time, as the clips used are taken from different sales. Anything decent has a hidden reserve and gets another outing until sold - now there's a familar tale!! Tomorrow's auction includes a Firestone England & Wales map which I'm sure has had at least two previous days out.
