What a lovely sign, and one I've not seen before. Many thanks for showing.

Thanks Griffo- the sign is still so shiny almost brand new looking. I climbed up a ladder swept away the spiders and layed on my stomach on the rafters just to get a picture. Almost like risking my life for this forum. Hope someone else enjoys seeing it now

Great colour combinations, love the graphics. Its got a Fairground Art feel to it. Some non-pictorials really are nice.

Well, waiting 12 years before photographing it is not bad...I stored a huge sign for 30 years until I moved, did a kitchen extension, then discovered a space for it. Everyone who visits always comment on it. ( A red and white Cadburys )

I remember some shopkeepers not wanting to part with their old signs and cabinets as they were convinced that someone was going to come and collect them one day!!!

Yes, or they were holding their wall up!
