Fantastic! There used to be one on display at Robert Opie's original museum Gloucester. It was my favourite thing in there, and it had some stiff competition!

Is it convex glass Rich , or flat glass ? I've got literally dozens of these things mostly inherited from my parents . They are usually sentimental Victorlan era subjects , like angels and children playing etc. Mostly they are sepia in appearance but i do have some coloured ones. Keep it well away from the sunlight or it will fade to brown . Yours ,I have to say , is in in wonderful condition . I have never seen one as an advert before . Very unusual . 1890 is spot on for the date . |

Marcus its flat glass, the colours are really bright, yes Hinks the O is a face, have you noticed the skull pipe ? |

That is nice cherryboy. The brand as you say introduced in 1895 and wthdrawn in 1910. So, quite a short life. They did re-introduce the brand as Demon Empire Mix and Demon Shag in 1925 until 1940. Very nice & rare glass sign.
