I've used a newish piece of metel that I had in the back of the shed Spence,  short bursts with the mig welder seems to do the trick as the argon gas keeps the metel cool.

Now that the nights are drawing in I thought that I would have another go at the restoration project......so put the rust killer on the motor oil sign and then started on this John Ginger that has been kicking around for a while.

just got a bit more done, thats the filler flatted down and ready for priming.

Good stuff .. I'm sure the end result will be well worth the effort

Been playing around with the new airbrush......a bit hit and miss but quite pleased with the colour match.
