Now its arrived safely full story..... I was looking at summat on fleabay when I thought I saw a fingerplate go across the top of the screen. Forgot about it for 10 mins then went into enamel signs.... nothing, Hudson's enamel ....nothing , Hudsons fingerplate ... nothing !! Finally HUDSON@S SOAP there it was bid £5 or BUY IT NOW £15 somehow after much thought I went for the BIN. It was listed in Home Decor, Plaques & signs, before it was House no.64 and after it a Plastic Beware of the Dog................I left those. Paid including 2.79 postage, then 2 days later got a Hermes message due Oct 4th !! 2 days later I got another Hermes message " Problem at depot " " driver not signed for " delivery expected 14th or 15th Oct. Bugger I thought seller had been contacted by someone and had somehow got it returned from Hermes. ............Then next morning it arrived !! A real stunner , Real, and Glossy I could'nt believe it ........and MICK its ALL TRUE and its not even April 1st All my Christmases come early cheers lummox |

You lucky sod! I know buggerall about these, so what's the going market price? I've had a couple over the years like that, in the wrong category or miss-spelt , sometimes it's just meant to be. I'm amazed that people don't take 5 mins to google what they are selling, especially BIN price. Well done ..... eBay can be great sometimes .... most of the time you have to splash the cash ..... and don't tell the wife! |

Bless you Ross for trying to explain, but evidently I am a simple man. I am still extremely dazed and fully confused. I know what triple means, but is it spelled treble? Isn't that musicians nomenclature? Are things that different across 6000 miles of sea? I am also deeply questioning what a Tight GIT is? Is this someone who is tight money-wise? What does a GIT mean? Is it an acronym for "Great internal turmoil" Please help..... |

Mick I know you are in Canada, I know you are a moose hunter but you need to get yourself an english dictionary, although " nomenclature " is I must say very impressive. Oxford English Dictionary def: Git " Contemptible person " especially applied to English colonists mainly moose hunting Canadians ... Wow thats harsh ! lummox xx Hey Michael bought any signs lately ? |

Oh my gosh. Git is a new word for me. I don't think that is in circulation as part of the English language over on this side, the only time Ive used that term is when im shooing a moose away from the vegetable garden...git ! Git ! Git! Or when Im trying to do the same to Banjoboy. BB where art thou?? |
