Covid threw huge packing task after October 2 days of auctions - over 600 boxes - so we've nudged the Advertising auction over 2 weeks.

I'm concerned about potential viewing for the November Advertising Auction now we're in a category 3 region.
Would any forum members here please like to offer their thoughts - should we go ahead as planned, or hold fire a little to see how things pan out?
Marcus as you're in a 3 region you are able to pop over to view the stuff. |

Hi Alan . It appears that you are in a classic " no win " situation here . Because of the Covid regulations about travel to tier 3 areas , inevitably some people will not want to risk coming to view the auction . As that's beyond your control , there's no point beating yourself up about it . You've picked a new date , so best to leave it at that to avoid any further confusion. The 28 day restriction is due to end the day before your sale , but as wenow know, anything might happen. |

I'm kinda being shifted to just go ahead - at least it's a LIVE VIDEO STREAMED event for folks to maybe pencil in to watch, we'll try to liven it a little more than the usual dead pan online auction offerings.
Our glamorous TV antique programme star Melissa Downhill operates the video... and the usual BBR assistants in the guise of Clare, Katie, Carley, Alison, and new girl Evie will be on hand to break the monotony of my ugly mush! PLUS you get to see all the myriad mix of advertising in all it's glory...

With pending lock down for seemingly a month what would people prefer for our upcoming sale.
Held off sending cat. to printers - but it will be printed Monday & posted out at the end of come what may.
1. a TIMED finish auction. No live video - a bit like eBay?
2. Absentee LIVE video streamed as per July & Sunday October?
